ND-BG History. Schenectady's Catholics were loyal to the two Catholic high schools that once dominated Catholic high school education in Schenectady. Both St. Joseph and St. Columba high schools were supported mainly through the efforts of their respective parishes.
Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons is dedicated to providing an education, filled with academic rigor, discipline, faith and safety in and among the community. Students receive four years of math and science and we offer acceleration in Spanish toward a five-year sequence.
