Norman Rossington (24 December 1928 – 21 May 1999) was an English actor best remembered for his roles in The Army Game, the Carry On films and the Beatles' film A Hard Day's Night.
Norman Rossington (1928-1999) was a character actor who appeared in The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night, The Longest Day, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, and many other films and TV shows. He also had a long career in musical theatre, playing roles such as Alfred Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls.
