Nick Skelton, né le 30 décembre 1957 à Bedworth, est un cavalier de saut d'obstacles britannique, champion olympique par équipes aux Jeux olympiques à Londres 1 et en individuel aux Jeux olympiques de Rio en 2016. Il est devenu le cavalier le plus âgé à remporter la médaille d'or des Jeux de Rio 2 .

Nicholas ("Nick") David Skelton (Bedworth (Warwickshire), 30 december 1957) is een Brits springruiter met een jarenlange internationale wedstrijdervaring. Onder andere behaalde hij zilveren en bronzen medailles op Europees- en wereldkampioenschappen individueel, en ook werd hij driemaal Europees kampioen in teamverband.

9 de jul. de 2020 · Nick was pony-mad, with a talent for getting into scrapes. He learnt to ride on 11.2hh Oxo, who joined the Skelton family at the age of two – when Nick was 18 months old – for £40.
Four years later, Nick Skelton went on to win the individual jumping gold at his last Olympics, Rio 2016. By doing so, he became the oldest British gold medallist since 1908 at the age of 60. A few weeks after the Games, Peter Charles, the last member of Team GB, sold his horse Vindicat to the showjumping daughter of American rock star Bruce Springsteen.
