Nakkhatra Mangala, Prince of Chanthaburi (Thai: นักขัตรมงคล; rtgs: Nakkhattramongkhon; January 4, 1897 – February 11, 1953) was the eldest son of Kitiyakara Voralaksana, Prince of Chanthaburi and Princess Apsarasaman Kitiyakara.
Nakkhatra Mangala, Prince of Chanthaburi (Thai: นักขัตรมงคล; rtgs: Nakkhattramongkhon; January 4, 1897 – February 11, 1953), was the eldest son of Kitiyakara Voralaksana, Prince of Chanthaburi and Princess Apsarasaman Kitiyakara.
In 1949 the King married his first cousin once removed, Mom Rajawongse Sirikit Kitiyakara (a daughter of Mom Chao Nakkhatra Mangala Kitiyakara, a grandson of King Chulalongkorn). Bhumibol was succeeded by his son Maha Vajiralongkorn officially on 13 October 2016, but was proclaimed King on 1 December 2016.
Sirikit was born on 12 August 1932, at the home of Lord Vongsanuprabhand, her maternal grandfather. She is the eldest daughter and the third child of Prince Nakkhatra Mangkala Kitiyakara, the son of Prince Kitiyakara Voralaksana, and Mom Luang Bua Snidvongs (1909–1999).
