Mary Buckland (née Morland; 20 November 1797 – 30 November 1857) was an English palaeontologist, marine biologist and scientific illustrator.

Mary Buckland was a 19th-century scientist who produced illustrations and specimens for George Cuvier, the founder of paleontology, and William Conybeare, a British geologist. She also studied marine zoophytes and wrote her own books and notes on fossils.

She helped him publish his treatise on fossils and minerals, and supported his lecturing and experiments. She also collected and studied fossils, wrote books and illustrations, and taught in a village school.
