Na Igrzyskach Olimpijskich w Monachium w 1972 zdobył złoty medal w drużynowym wszechstronnym konkursie konia wierzchowego , na Igrzyskach Olimpijskich w Seulu w 1988 zdobył srebro w tej samej konkurencji.

Mark Phillips. Mark Anthony Peter Phillips CVO ADC (* 22. September 1948 in Tetbury, Gloucestershire) ist ein britischer Vielseitigkeitsreiter und -trainer. Bekanntheit erlangte er insbesondere als erster Ehemann von Prinzessin Anne, der Schwester von König Charles III., mit der er die Kinder Peter und Zara hat.
Mark Phillips attended Marlborough College and went on to join the Army, where he later reached the rank of captain. In 1972 he won a gold medal at the Munich Olympics in an equestrian event.
