Marjorie Bruce or Marjorie de Brus (c. 1296 – 1316 or 1317) was the eldest daughter of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, and the only child born of his first marriage with Isabella of Mar. Marjorie's marriage to Walter, High Steward of Scotland , gave rise to the House of Stewart .
Marjorie Bruce was the only child of Scotland's hero king Robert the Bruce by his first wife, Isabella of Mar. She was born in 1296 and died in 1316, giving birth to a son by caesarian section at Paisley Abbey. She was captured by the English and held in a convent for seven years, until her release in 1314. She was married to Walter Stewart, a descendant of the Walter FitzAlan who founded Paisley Abbey, and died in childbirth at the age of nineteen.

Marjorie Bruce was the only child of King Robert I the Bruce and Isabella of Mar. She survived the Scottish Wars of Independence, married Robert Stewart, and gave birth to Robert II, the first Stewart king of Scots.

The only child of Robert I's first marriage, and named after her grandmother who had brought the earldom of Carrick into the Bruce family, Marjorie's surrender as a hostage had been a condition of her father's submission in August 1297, though he complied in neither.
