6 de mar. de 2014 · Austrian-born British pianist Marion Stein was born in Vienna on 18 October 1926. Her father was musician and writer Erwin Stein, who was a pupil and friend of Arnold Schoenberg . She emigrated to the UK just before the onset of World War II and studied at the Royal College of Music, becoming friends with Benjamin Britten and John Amis .
