Magdalene College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College , before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene .

About. The College of St Mary Magdalene is located in the centre of Cambridge beside the River Cam. The College has its origins in the year 1428 and has an eclectic mix of buildings. There has been a continuous tradition of academic study on the site for nearly 600 years,

With an intake of around 105 new undergraduates each year it is possible to get to know all your fellow students!
Magdalene College (AFI: [ˈmɔːdlɪn], pron. MAWDlin) [1] é uma faculdade constituinte da Universidade de Cambridge, na Inglaterra, Reino Unido. Foi fundado em 1428 como um albergue beneditino, e com o tempo passou a ser conhecido como Buckingham College, antes de ser refundado em 1542 como Faculdade de Santa Maria Madalena.
Geography at Cambridge involves undergraduates in a wide range of lectures, practical classes and field courses, organised around a three year course, called the Geographical Tripos. This is divided into three parts (Parts IA, IB and II), with an examination at the end of each year.
