Magdalene College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College , before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene .

Magdalene College (AFI: [ˈmɔːdlɪn], pron. MAWDlin) [1] é uma faculdade constituinte da Universidade de Cambridge, na Inglaterra, Reino Unido. Foi fundado em 1428 como um albergue beneditino, e com o tempo passou a ser conhecido como Buckingham College, antes de ser refundado em 1542 como Faculdade de Santa Maria Madalena.
Magdalene College has the advantage of an attractive and convenient location on the banks of the River Cam, with the longest waterfront of all the Cambridge Colleges, and less than 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre. With an intake of around 105 new undergraduates each year it is possible to get to know all your fellow students!
