Magdalen College offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Studies with majors in Literature, Philosophy, History, and Theology. In addition to their major, students may choose to concentrate in the fine arts.
Lindenwood University is a private university in St. Charles, Missouri. Founded in 1832 by George Champlin Sibley and Mary Easton Sibley as The Lindenwood School for Girls, it is the second-oldest higher-education institution west of the Mississippi River. [7]
Magdalen College was founded in 1458 by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester, and Lord Chancellor. He wanted a college on the grandest scale, and his foundation was the largest in Oxford, with 40 Fellows, 30 scholars (known at Magdalen as Demies), and a large choir for his Chapel.
The College will be closed to all visitors on 27 September, October 6th and 20 December – 31 December, all dates inclusive, but see below for New Year’s Day 2025). Despite being in the centre of Oxford, Magdalen is teeming with flora and fauna, including kingfishers, and otters.
