Lord George William Montagu Douglas Scott, OBE, DL (31 August 1866 – 23 February 1947) was a Scottish cricketer and soldier who was the third son of William Montagu Douglas Scott, 6th Duke of Buccleuch.
Her descendant, Lord George Scott, published a biography called Lucy Walter Wife or Mistress. London: George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd, 1947. The novelist Elizabeth Goudge published a novel about Lucy, The Child from the Sea, in 1970. In the 2003 television documentary, The Boy Who Would Be King, Sandra Darnell portrays Lucy Walter. He was the brother of John Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and the son of William Montagu Douglas Scott, 6th Duke of Buccleuch. Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester was his niece.
