The phrase “literature and science” signifies many things, not all of which are considered here. One is the use of quasi-scientific methodology in literary criticism, drawing on contemporary science and particularly on the fields of neurology, evolutionary theory, and evolutionary psychology.
The Journal of Literature and Science is a peer-reviewed academic journal, published twice annually in Summer and Winter. The JLS is dedicated to the publication of academic essays of six to nine thousand words on the subject of literature and science, broadly defined.
