  2. Lionel Tollemache, 3rd Earl of Dysart (30 January 1649 – 23 February 1727 n.s.), styled Lord Huntingtower from 1651 to 1698, was an English nobleman. A Tory Member of Parliament at Westminster, he inherited Scottish peerages and was briefly Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk from 1703 to 1705.

  3. His son, Lionel Tollemache, Lord Huntingtower pre-deceased him and the title was inherited by his grandson, Lionel Tollemache, 4th Earl of Dysart in 1727. The 4th Earl was elected High Steward of Ipswich and Knight of the Thistle. The title passed to the 4th Earl's eldest son, Lionel, who became 5th Earl in 1770.

Sir William, styled Lord Huntingtower from 1921, predeceased his mother and it was consequently his son, Lionel William John Talmash (afterwards Tollemache) who became 8th Earl of Dysart in 1840. From the Manners marriage of the Tollemache heiress, considerable interests were acquired in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland..
