Leire Martínez Ochoa (born 22 June 1979 in Errenteria, Gipuzkoa ), is a Spanish singer, songwriter and the current lead vocalist of the band La Oreja de Van Gogh after Amaia Montero 's departure in 2007. She participated in the television show Factor X in 2007 performing covers of Julieta Venegas, Vanessa Paradis and Lisa Stansfield.

Leire es la mayor de tres hermanos y se crio en Rentería. En el colegio le gustaba practicar danza, solfeo y tocar el violín.[cita requerida] Al terminar su etapa escolar, Leire se matriculó en la Universidad del País Vasco, en la Facultad de Magisterio de Educación Especial.[cita requerida]
La cantante inició una relación sentimental con el malagueño Jacobo Rodríguez Bustamante en 2013 y contrajeron matrimonio el 18 de octubre de 2014 en la iglesia de San Ignacio de Loyola (San Sebastián), en el barrio de Gros.
