Kirk Harold Gibson (born May 28, 1957) is an American former professional baseball outfielder and manager. He is currently a color commentator for the Detroit Tigers on Bally Sports Detroit and a special assistant for the Tigers.

Kirk Gibson was a left-handed outfielder who played for the Tigers, Dodgers and Diamondbacks from 1979 to 1995. He won the MVP, World Series, ALCS and manager of the year awards, and hit 255 home runs with a .268 batting average.
