Kate Boy are a Swedish synthpop duo from Stockholm. The group was founded by Kate Akhurst, from Australia, and Markus Dextegen, from Sweden, together with former Swedish members Hampus Nordgren Hemlin and Oskar Sikow. All members have participated in writing, producing and playing instruments.

Kate Boy are a Swedish synthpop duo from Stockholm. The group was founded by Kate Akhurst, from Australia, and Markus Dextegen, from Sweden, together with former Swedish members Hampus Nordgren Hemlin and Oskar Sikow. All members have participated in writing, producing and playing instruments. They released their debut studio album, One, in November 2015.
Kate Boy é um grupo de electro-pop formado em Estocolmo, Suécia. Os membros são Kate Akhurst (originalmente da Austrália) e Markus Dextegen, Oskar Sikow Engström e Hampus Nordgren Hemlin do trio sueco Rocket Boy.
Dubbing themselves Kate Boy as an expression of the project's androgynous persona and their egalitarian creative process, the project's first single, "Northern Lights," arrived in 2013. Several other singles appeared over the next couple of years, including 2014's "Self Control." Kate Boy's first full-length, One, dropped in 2015. ~ Heather Phares
