Friedrich Karl Ferdinand Freiherr von Müffling, nicknamed Weiss (12 June 1775 – 10 January 1851) was a Prussian Generalfeldmarschall and military theorist. He served as Blücher's liaison officer in Wellington's headquarters during the Battle of Waterloo and was one of the organizers of the final victory over Napoleon.

Prussian Chief of General Staff Karl Freiherr von M ü ffling began his military career as a Junker in the Fusilier Battalion "von Schenck." As a lieutenant, he worked on the Prussian General Staff (1802-03) and later as a captain (1805). He saw action at Leipzig in 1814 and fought with Wellington's staff in 1815.
