Julius Kambarage Nyerere (Butiama, 13 de abril de 1922 – Londres, 14 de outubro de 1999) foi um político e ativista tanzaniano. Foi presidente do Tanganyika, desde a independência deste território em 1962 e, posteriormente, da Tanzânia até se retirar da política em 1985. Em (1985-86) foi-lhe atribuído o Prêmio Lênin da Paz.
