Das Jesus College der Universität Cambridge ist 1496 durch Umwandlung eines von John Alcock, dem damaligen Bischof von Ely, gegründeten Nonnenklosters entstanden. Es hieß, dieses Kloster sei durch allzu große Freizügigkeit aufgefallen.

Jesus College. Jesus College is in the centre of the city of Oxford, on a site between Turl Street, Ship Street, Cornmarket Street and Market Street. The college was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1571 and covers a broad range of secular subjects. Its oldest buildings date back to the 16th and early 17th centuries.

A disc represents hours of planning, rehearsing, recording and editing and is a memento of a particular time in the Choir鈥檚 history, with the membership changing every year as students come and go and choristers鈥?voices change and new choristers arrive.
