Iain Glen returns, playing troubled ex-cop Jack Taylor, who’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. In the first of three, feature length films, adapted from Ken Bruen’s best-selling crime novels, Jack’s interest is aroused when a young student falls to hear death from a university roof.
Synopsis. Feature-length crime drama, starring Iain Glen as the private detective created by author Ken Bruen. The sleuth investigates the accidental deaths of two students which appear to be random, tragic events, but in each case a copy of a book by John Millington Synge is found beneath the body.
The straight-talking, hard-drinking, big-hearted Taylor has become a private eye, investigating the criminal activity fermenting along Ireland's rugged western coast.
