Jérôme-Napoléon Bonaparte (born Girolamo Buonaparte; 15 November 1784 – 24 June 1860) was the youngest brother of Napoleon I and reigned as Jerome Napoleon I (formally Hieronymus Napoleon in German), King of Westphalia, between 1807 and 1813.

18 de abr. de 2024 · Jérôme Bonaparte was Napoleon I’s youngest brother, who became king of Westphalia and marshal of France. It was through Jérôme that the Bonaparte line extended into the United States; his eldest son, Jerome, grew up in Maryland with his American mother.
King Jerome was finally able to return to France in 1847, Louis-Philippe having abolished law forbidding members of the Bonaparte family to enter France. On the election of his nephew as President of the Second Republic, he became Governor of Les Invalides, Marshal of France and President of the Senate.
