Sie ist siebenfache Olympiasiegerin mit insgesamt zwölf olympischen Medaillen (7 × Gold; 5 × Silber), neunfache Weltmeisterin, einundzwanzigfache Europameisterin sowie vierzehnfache Deutsche Meisterin.
