Humphrey of Lancaster, Duke of Gloucester (3 October 1390 – 23 February 1447) was an English prince, soldier and literary patron. He was (as he styled himself) "son, brother and uncle of kings", being the fourth and youngest son of Henry IV of England , the brother of Henry V , and the uncle of Henry VI .
Humphrey Plantagenet, duke of Gloucester was an English nobleman who was the first notable patron of England’s humanists. He became known as the “good Duke Humphrey,” but many historians, pointing to his unprincipled and inept political dealings, have questioned the appropriateness of the title.

Humphrey de Lencastre, 1° Duque de Gloucester, 1.° Conde de Pembroke, KG (1390 — 23 de fevereiro de 1447) foi o quarto filho do rei Henrique IV de Inglaterra e de Maria de Bohun. Em 1414, o seu irmão mais velho Henrique V fez dele Duque de Gloucester.

Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester was among those who sailed with Henry V to Normandy in 1415. After landing at Harfleur the English expedition marched in some poor weather conditions through Normandy. The standout moment of this campaign was the Battle of Agincourt.
