Hugo von Pohl (Breslávia, 25 de agosto de 1855 – Berlim, 23 de fevereiro de 1916) foi um oficial naval alemão e um dos almirantes de maior destaque da Marinha Imperial Alemã no início da Primeira Guerra Mundial.
Hugo von Pohl (25 August 1855 – 23 February 1916) was a German admiral who served during the First World War. He joined the Navy in 1872 and served in various capacities, including with the new torpedo boats in the 1880s, and in the Reichsmarineamt (Imperial Navy Office) in the 1890s.

Imperial German naval officer Hugo von Pohl served as Chief of the Admiralty Staff during the first few months of the Great War. In 1915, Admiral von Pohl replaced von Ingenohl as Germany's High Seas Fleet Commander and immediately gave orders for the use of unrestricted submarine warfare.
Succeeding Ingenohl as Commander-in-Chief of the fleet following the near disaster at Dogger Bank in January 1915 (with Bachmann taking his place as Chief of the Admiralty Staff), von Pohl proved something of a cautious naval commander, unwilling to risk the German surface fleet.
Hugo Pohl, seit 1913 von Pohl war ein deutscher Marineoffizier, zuletzt im Rang eines Vizeadmirals. Von 1913 bis 1915 leitete er den Admiralstab der Kaiserlichen Marine, nachfolgend war er Chef der deutschen Hochseeflotte im Ersten Weltkrieg.
