Netflix sent me the 1962 film narrated by Marlene Dietrich. It follows Hitler's entire life drawing parallels with the classic French fable Reynard the Fox. Blame is meted out to the common German citizen as well, who rather liked being told he was "superior". This won the Academy Award for Best Documentary, Feature. Not blogged.

More a psychological portrait, my closest friend at least conveyed to Mrs. Basehart at an art opening in Beverly Hills that I considered this her husband's finest portrayal.
