Há 6 dias · Ernst II, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, was a German aristocrat, and the Regent of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha during the minority of his wife's cousin, Duke Charles Edward, from 1900 to 1905. Ernst was the oldest of three children, and the only son, of Hermann, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, and Princess Leopoldine of Baden.

2 de mai. de 2024 · Albert was born here on 26 August 1819 – for 200 years – as second son of Ernst I, Duke von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha (Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) and his wife Princess Luise von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg. He and his brother Ernst grew up here with their father, who had divorced his wife in 1826.
