August 1832 in Langenburg; † 9. März 1913 ebenda) war der 6. Fürst des Hauses Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Er war der erste Präsident der Deutschen Kolonialgesellschaft .

He was born in Crailsheim, West Germany, the middle child and only son of Kraft, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1935–2004) and his first wife, Princess Charlotte of Cro (b. 1938). Paternally, he is a grandson of Princess Margarita of Greece and Denmark, and a grandnephew of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, whose funeral he attended.
Since the 13th century, Schloss Langenburg has been owned by the Hohenlohe princely family and is still the residence of the Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Princess Elise of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (Elise Victoria Feodora Sophie Adelheid; 4 September 1864 – 18 March 1929) was Princess Reuss Younger Line as the wife of Heinrich XXVII. She was the eldest daughter of Hermann, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and his wife Princess Leopoldine of Baden .
