21 de fev. de 2017 · Henry Dudley was the youngest of the Dudley sons. Like his brothers he was condemned as a traitor but like Ambrose he became a soldier for Philip of Spain. He was killed at the Battle of St Quentin in 1557.
Brief Life History of Henry. When Sir Henry Sutton Dudley was born in 1517, in Dudley, Staffordshire, England, his father, Lord John Sutton, was 23 and his mother, Lady Cecily Grey, was 20. He married Elizabeth Ashton in 1545, in Fyfield, Berkshire, England. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters.
With Uvedale's help Dudley crossed to France to seek aid from Henry II, but his plot was betrayed in March, and on 4 April Dudley was proclaimed a traitor. On the 8th Nicholas Wotton [q. v.] was ordered to demand his extradition, but the French king received him well, gave him fifteen hundred crowns, and made him a gentleman of the privy chamber.

Henry Dudley was the son of John Sutton, 3rd Lord Dudley and Lady Cicely Grey.1 He married unknown Ashton, daughter of Sir Christopher Ashton.1.

Richarson states that Henry Dudley died between 1568 and 1570, although the place was a guess. There's nothing in the Dudley-251 bio supporting its current death date and the bio even has him being buried prior to his listed death.
