Gregory Jbara (/ dʒ ə ˈ b ɑːr ə /; born September 28, 1961) is an American film, television, stage actor and singer. Best known as DCPI Garrett Moore in Blue Bloods (2010-2023), and his Tony Award winning performance as Jackie Elliot in Billy Elliot the Musical (2009).
Born and raised in suburban Detroit, Gregory Jbara transferred from the University of Michigan School of Music musical theatre program to complete his BFA in acting at the Juilliard School. Gregory Jbara began his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a minor in physics and a major in communications. By his second year he was enrolled as a theatre major and his third year was a founding inaugural class member of the renowned University of Michigan Musical Theatre Department.
