Gonville and Caius College, often referred to simply as Caius (/ k iː z / KEEZ), is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. Founded in 1348 by Edmund Gonville , it is the fourth-oldest of the University of Cambridge's 31 colleges and one of the wealthiest.
Caius is the fourth oldest College in the University of Cambridge. The College was first founded as Gonville Hall by Edmund Gonville, Rector of Terrington St Clement in Norfolk, in 1348, and refounded in 1557 by John Caius as Gonville and Caius College.
Courses. Every undergraduate degree offered by the University is available at Caius. We take a great deal of pride in supporting our undergraduates at the highest level and our large Fellowship means that we are able to provide a great deal of teaching in-house.
