George Talbot, 6th Earl of Shrewsbury, 6th Earl of Waterford, 12th Baron Talbot, KG, Earl Marshal (c. 1522/1528 – 18 November 1590) was an English magnate and military commander. He also held the subsidiary titles of 15th Baron Strange of Blackmere and 11th Baron Furnivall .

27 de mar. de 2023 · On 27th March 1539, George Talbot, 4th Earl of Shrewsbury, was laid to rest in the Shrewsbury Chapel of St Peter's Church, Sheffield. Talbot is known for his loyalty to the king during the Pilgrimage of Grace uprisings, which was seen as crucial to the failure of the rebellion.

He also held the subsidiary titles of 13th Baron Strange of Blackmere and 9th Baron Furnivall.
GEORGE TALBOT, fourth Earl of Shrewsbury and Earl of Waterford (1468-1538), born at Shifnal, Shropshire, in 1468, was son and heir of John Talbot, third earl of Shrewsbury (1448-1473), and grandson of John Talbot, second earl of Shrewsbury.
