Geoffry Northcote. Sir Geoffry Alexander Stafford Northcote, KCMG KStJ (羅富國;9 February 1881 – 10 July 1948) was a British colonial administrator. Early life, education, and early colonial services career[ edit] Northcote was the son of Reverend the Hon. Arthur Francis Northcote, fourth son of Stafford Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh.

Sir Geoffry Alexander Stafford Northcote was appointed as Governor of British Guiana on March 26, 1935. The Man Power Citizen’s Association (MPCA), representing the political interests of East Indian sugar cane workers and African bauxite workers, was established under the leadership of Ayube Mohamed Edun in 1937.
Geoffry Northcote entered the Colonial Service in 1904 and served in Kenya from 1904 to 1927. 4.
