Françoise d’Aubigné (Niort 27 de novembro de 1635 — Saint-Cyr-l'École, 15 de abril de 1719), foi uma Nobre Francesa considerada nominalmente consorte do Rei Luís XIV da França e Navarra que se casou secretamente com a mesma. Ela ficou conhecida como Marquesa de Maintenon, ou como Madame de Maintenon.
Madame de Maintenon, née Françoise d'Aubigné ou, plus rarement, d'Aubigny [1], née le 27 novembre 1635 à Niort et morte le 15 avril 1719 à la Maison royale de Saint-Louis à Saint-Cyr, est une dame française des XVII e et XVIII e siècles qui fut l'épouse puis la veuve de Paul Scarron.

She encouraged an atmosphere of dignity and piety at court and founded an educational institution for poor girls at Saint-Cyr (1686).
Françoise d’Aubigné, Marquise de Maintenon, first appeared at Versailles in the 1670s. Born in 1635 in the prison at Niort, where her father was imprisoned for debt, she was orphaned in 1647 and in 1652 married the poet Paul Scarron, who was renowned as a master of the burlesque.
