I don't know how to best articulate this but reading Wikipedia made me very interested in learning about the differences between cats and how they evolved features that made them different. Unfortunately, Wiki gives a very brief overview and a layman like myself has no way of understanding why this extinct fubfamily is separate from that extinct subfamily.
