Evelyn Waugh was an English writer of novels, biographies, and travel books, known for his satires, war trilogy, and Catholicism. He was a journalist and book reviewer who reported from Abyssinia and the Second World War. He converted to Catholicism in 1930 and converted his own mental breakdown into a novel.
