Eugênio, Duque de Leuchtenberg (Paris, 3 de setembro de 1781 – Munique, 21 de fevereiro de 1824), foi o primeiro e único filho varão do Visconde Alexandre de Beauharnais e Josefina de Beauharnais, a futura esposa do Imperador Napoleão Bonaparte.

On returning to France and the coup d’etat of 18 Brumaire, Eugène was appointed Captain of the Chasseurs à cheval de la garde consulaire and followed Bonaparte to Italy. At Marengo he distinguished himself in the charges led by Bessières and legitimately won his rank of Chef d’escadron (Squadron leader).
Eugène de Beauharnais. Born in 1781, Eugène de Beauharnais became aide-de-camp to his stepfather Bonaparte in 1797. He served in Egypt and at the Battle of Marengo and pursued a distinguished military career before being named Viceroy of Italy, a daunting task which he fulfilled to the best of his abilities and the relative freedom given to him by the Emperor.
