Gerhard Schürer (1982) Paul Gerhard Schürer (* 14. April 1921 in Zwickau; † 22. Dezember 2010 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Politiker ( SED ). Er war von 1965 bis 1990 Vorsitzender der Staatlichen Plankommission beim Ministerrat der DDR und Mitglied des Politbüros des ZK der SED .

According to the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica, "He was a considerable force in the educational revival of Jewish education in France."
