Adelaide Ema Guilhermina Teresa de Waldeck e Pyrmont (Arolsen, 2 de agosto de 1858 – Haia, 20 de março de 1934) foi a segunda esposa do rei Guilherme III e Rainha Consorte dos Países Baixos e Grã-Duquesa Consorte de Luxemburgo entre 1879 e 1890.
Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont (Adelheid Emma Wilhelmina Theresia; 2 August 1858 – 20 March 1934) was Queen of the Netherlands and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg as the wife of King-Grand Duke William III.

6 de out. de 2015 · Emma had lessons in the Dutch language and history before her marriage because she wanted to come to her new country Dutch. The couple was married on January 7, 1879, in Arolsen, Principality of Waldeck and Pyrmont, now in Hesse, Germany.
The young German princess Emma of Waldeck-Pyrmont married the Dutch king Willem III, who was more than forty years older, in 1879. The marriage was controversial in the Netherlands, taking place shortly after the death of Willems first wife, the popular Queen Sophie.
4 de ago. de 2020 · On 20 March 1934, Emma died after being ill for around a week from bronchitis that turned into pneumonia; she was 75 years old. Wilhelmina later wrote in her memoirs, “In March 1934, Juliana and I left her for a few days and went to The Loo for a little fresh air and a change of scene. Except for a slight cold, she seemed in good condition.
