26 de abr. de 2022 · George Tailboys (c. 1523 – c. 6 September 1540) was the eldest son of Elizabeth Blount and Gilbert Tailboys, 1st Baron Tailboys of Kyme. Through his mother he was the half brother of Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Richmond and Somerset, who was the only illegitimate offspring acknowledged by Henry VIII, King of England. Birth.

When Gilbert Tailboys was born in 1499, in Kyme, Lincolnshire, England, his father, George Talboys, was 34 and his mother, Elizabeth Gascoigne, was 28. He married Elizabeth Blount in September 1519. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 15 April 1536, in his hometown, at the age of 37, and was buried in Kyme ...
