Elizabeth Paulet (c. 1533 – 4 November 1576) was an English noblewoman, the daughter of John Paulet, 2nd Marquess of Winchester of Basing, Hampshire and his first wife Elizabeth Willoughby.
When Elizabeth Paulet was born about 1406, in Wiltshire, England, her father, Sir Thomas Paulet, was 30 and her mother, Margaret Burton, was 22. She married William Bikebery in 1423, in Hinton St George, Somerset, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. Education and family. St John was the son of Oliver St John, 1st Earl of Bolingbroke and his wife Elizabeth Paulet, daughter of William Paulet. He was baptised on 2 April 1603. [1] .

Having been divorced by Frances Howard he went on to marry Elizabeth Paulet in 1630 having returned from his soldiering in Europe to take up his other career as a politician – and an earl needs a wife. The marriage lasted a year, after that it was a marriage in name only.
Biography: Elizabeth Paulet was born in 1806 in Rotherdam, Yorkshire, the daughter of Wesleyan minister Robert Newton (1780–1854) and Elizabeth Nodes (died 1865). Her younger sister was novelist Emma Newton .
