Elizabeth de Burgh (English: / d ˈ b ɜːr /; d’-BER; c. 1289 – 27 October 1327) was the second wife and the only queen consort of Robert the Bruce. Elizabeth was born sometime around 1289, probably in what is now County Down or County Antrim in Ulster , the northern province in Ireland . [1]

24 de abr. de 2015 · Aware that he would be excommunicated for his actions, Bruce raced to Scone to be crowned before a papal bull could be issued. 6 weeks later, on March 25th 1306, the Bruce was crowned King Robert I of Scotland, with Elizabeth by his side, by Isabella MacDuff, Countess of Buchan.
