Dwight Gooden is a former pitcher who played for the New York Mets from 1984 to 1996 and won the Cy Young Award in 1985. He also won the NL Rookie of the Year in 1984 and the NL Player of the Year in 1986, and was a 7-time All-Star and a 3-time NL All-Star.
