    The Dragon Schoolseries is a YA fantasy. The books are each 75 to 100 pages, so it’s not an intense read.     I liked the various twists in the Dragon Schoolstory. It’s not a straightforward story, and some of the notable characters do die. That sets it apart from many YA novels. That’s also what kept me coming back to it. I also enjoyed the reasonably realistic depiction of Amel’s disability. Things didn’t magically get better when she paired with a drago...

    I would have loved longer books. I understand the serial release, but still. There could be so much more detail into the Dragon Schoolbooks and the world. There could have been more twists and turns and character involvement. I have not read the next series in the world, Dragon Chameleon, yet. I may be missing something that is later elaborated on.

    I would recommend the Dragon School series for anyone who enjoys Fantasy and wants an easy read. I would also recommend it to people who have children. Whether the children are disabled or not, the Dragon School books are an excellent empathy builder.
