10 de ago. de 2022 · Something has always bothered me about David Benioff and how Game of Thrones ended and it never really occurred to me until last night. We all know how bad the last seasons were. While visually they were awesome and had some great scenes the writing was just horrible, characters were not developed properly and overall the story lines were shit.
Benioff is the main culprit. Weiss is still to blame but he's more of an errand boy; Benioff at the computer typing random shit into Microsoft Word, Weiss giggling behind him, massaging Benioff's pasty shoulders and bringing him Starbucks. Bloody Starbucks.

22 de mar. de 2024 · The original pilot of Game of Thrones was a disaster, and the only reason they weren’t fired is because HBO had to get their money back with Season 1. Oh, and David Benioff only got the position because his father was connected to the guy running HBO at the time, meaning Benioff got in through nepotism. Is any of this new information to you guys?

No Spoilers I agree the show's writing went south when D&D ran out of source material to adapt and that's not entirely their fault.

I think we can all agree that the books are amazing, and that the show was amazing to begin with, and then sometime, maybe around season 5, and definitely the last three seasons, it went downhill.
