Craig John Counsell (born August 21, 1970) is an American former professional baseball player and current manager for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was previously the manager for the Milwaukee Brewers and holds the Brewers’ franchise record for managerial wins.

Craig Counsell is a second baseman who played for the Marlins, Diamondbacks and Brewers from 1995 to 2011. He won the NLCS MVP in 2001 and the NL Manager of the Year in 2019.
