It was founded in 1876, by a French woman named Claudine Thévenet, foundress of the Religious of Jesus Mary, whose sole purpose for the school was to train young ladies so that they make good housewives and women in life.
At the Present. Now in 2021, the Convent of Jesus and Mary Murree, is an English Medium school, offering the Higher Secondary School (Matriculation Examination) and is growing in all senses. It now has 1044 students on the Rolls from classes Pre-Nursery to class X. 374 are girls and 670 boys.
