Clifford Stein is Interim Director of the Data Science Institute, Wai T. Chang Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and Professor of Computer Science. He previously served as chair of the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department and associate director of research for DSI.

Biography. Clifford Stein received the B.S.E. degree from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, in 1992.
