Cheryl Ann Krause (born January 25, 1968) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Krause was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Krause earned her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and her J.D.from Stanford Law School in 1993.

Krause was nominated by President Barack Obama on February 6, 2014, to fill a seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit vacated by Dolores Sloviter, who took senior status. The American Bar Association rated Krause Unanimously Well Qualified for the nomination. Cheryl Ann Krause was unanimously confirmed as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in July of 2014. She previously worked as a partner at a multinational law firm where she specialized in white collar criminal defense and securities litigation.
Nominated by Barack Obama on February 6, 2014, to a seat vacated by Dolores Korman Sloviter. Confirmed by the Senate on July 7, 2014, and received commission on July 9, 2014.
Krause led the prosecution and investigation of a $65 million food stamp fraud conspiracy. The investigation spanned two years and resulted in more than 60 pleas and convictions, including of several bank officers.
