Charles Robert Wynn-Carington, 1st Marquess of Lincolnshire, KG, GCMG, PC, JP, DL (16 May 1843 – 13 June 1928), known as the Lord Carrington from 1868 to 1895, and as the Earl Carrington from 1895 to 1912, was a British Liberal politician and aristocrat. He was Governor of New South Wales from 1885 to 1890.

Charles Robert Wynn-Carrington (1843–1928), 1st Marquess of Lincolnshire, landowner and Liberal politician, was governor of New South Wales in the late 1880s. Born in London and educated at Eton and at Trinity College, Cambridge, Carrington entered Parliament, aged 22, in 1865 as member for the seat of High Wycombe.
